That time of year is around the corner where the pumpkins are being carved, chilly nights are being spent watching scary movies and families are getting excited about halloween activities and trick or treating!! Here you can find some enjoyable halloween activities are being held in our area.

Pumpkin Inferno

Location: Discovery Harbour, 93 Jury Dr, Penetanguishene

Date: Thursday to Sunday September 28 – October 29 and Monday October 30th

Time: 7pm – 10pm

Go check out the fun and spooky outdoor exhibit of realistic artificial pumpkins. Enjoy time out with family or friends by walking the path that showcases the most beautifully designed pumpkins. If you want to be spooked you can enter the terror zone, where evil creatures could be lurking around the corners, enter if you dare.

Halloween Hill Haunt: Blue Mountain Village

Location: Blue Mountain Village

When: Saturday October 28th, Sunday October 29th


Head over to the Halloween Hill Haunt where fun begins. Halloween activites include: pumpkin bowling, pumpkin checkers, scavenger hunt, pumpkin decorating.

Midland Movie Night

Location: 509 Bay Street, Midland ON

Date: Saturday, 21 October 2017

Time: 6:00 PM – 8:30 PM (Dusk)

This event is brought to you by Midland BIA and the Town of Midland. Go enjoy a free movie downtown Midland on Saturday October 21st for the viewing of the 1984 Ghostbusters film on a big screen!! Don’t forget to bring your own lawn chair, the movie will start at dusk.

Things that go Bump in the Marsh

Location: Wye Marsh- 16160 Highway 12 East, Midland, ON L4R 4K6

Date: October 28th

Time: 2:30-4:00pm

This halloween event is held at the Wye Marsh in Midland, kids can enjoy a Wye Marsh original story telling, a nature walk, crafts and snacks. $5 entry with a costume! General admission without a costume, $11 adults, $8.50 students/seniors, $8 child, and Ages 3 and under are free.
