Pumpkinferno at Haunted Harbour
When: Every Thursday to Sunday in October from 7pm-10pm

Marsh by Moonlight
When: October 8th, 14th, 15th, 21st and 22nd from 6:30pm-8:30pm
Where: Wye Marsh in Midland
Come visit the Wye Marsh in the evening to experience a guided voyageur style canoe tour through the sparkling moonlight water of this beautiful site. Twinkling voyageur canoes and boardwalk, night noises, some yummy bannock and lots of laughs will make for a few spectacular photo-ops and an unforgettable night! Connect with nature and enjoy this unique and different perspective of the marsh.
Murder Mystery Event
When: October 15th at 7pm
Where: Huronia Museum in Midland
Join Huronia Museum for a night of mayhem, mystery and murder, where the audience has a role in solving the case! This murder mystery isn’t a single, unchanging theatre piece – it’s an event that plays out through the museum throughout the evening. Keep your eyes out for whispered secrets, dropped notes, and knowing glances. Work alongside others to compare what you have seen and heard, or just enjoy the plot as it unfolds. Will you be the one to paint us a picture of the Munchausen Murder? A night of fine art, fine acting, and fine dining.

Where: Royal Canadian Legion in Midland
Join the Ladies’ Auxiliary for a delicious homemade spaghetti dinner and enjoy the company of family and friends from within the community. Tickets are $10 per person with children 10 and under at half price. Tickets can be purchased at the door or in advance at the Branch.
Amphitheatre Grand Opening
When: October 21st from 6pm-9pm
Where: Parc Rotary Champlain Wendat Park in Penetanguishene
Join the Town of Penetanguishene as they celebrate the Grand Opening of the New Outdoor Amphitheatre in the Parc Rotary Champlain Wendat Park! The event will be featuring live music from local artist Scott Cooper and a screening of the Halloween classic – Hocus Pocus. A variety of treats are available for a donation. Come out and enjoy the fall crisp evening air with some music and a movie!
Picnic of the Living Dead
When: October 22nd from 12pm-3pm
Where: Huronia Museum in Midland
Huronia Museum is back with its second annual Picnic of the Living Dead. We are calling all zombie enthusiasts to dress up, pack a picnic and join the museum staff and volunteers for a picnic in the park with games, contests and fun. There will be prizes for the Best Dressed Zombie and even a Zombie Talent show to be judged by the museum’s official “Zombie Appraisers”.

Halloween Movie Night

Where: 509 Bay Street Parking Lot
Catch a FREE movie under the stars in Downtown Midland. As voted by the people of Midland, “The Nightmare Before Christmas” will be playing on the big screen! The movie will start at dusk. Bring your own lawn chair. In addition, 104.1 The Dock FM will be playing fun Halloween themed music beforehand and will be collecting non-perishable food items for charity. Those who donate will receive snacks in return. And don’t forget to dress up in your Halloween costume!
Pumpkin Mania Fall Festival
When: Every weekend from September 24th-October 30th from 11am-5pm
Where: Rounds Ranch in Barrie
Enjoy wagon rides, goofy pumpkin-themed games, corn mazes, farm animals and our Western Playground! Games include Pumpkin Bowling, Pumpkin Pie Eating Contest, Pumpkin Bingo, Pumpkin Hockey and many, many more, with prizes in store for kids. Pumpkin Festival & Haunted Adventure

Come and experience Chappell’s Farms in the fall for Pumpkin Festival, featuring animals, play areas with sand diggers, bale run, corn maze, boo barn, wagon rides, and pumpkin picking.
